No Funk for the kiddies today!
May 20th, 2004Ever have one of those days where it all just doesn’t seem to work? When nothing comes together and works out like you’d figured it would? I had one of those days recently, and it made for some uncomfortable situations to say the least. I wasn’t mad (as some suspected), I wasn’t upset or worried about anything (as I suspected), but I was just in a funk.
It didn’t last long, but it did catch the attention of almost everyone at the office. What did worry me were all the questions and looks I was getting. Apparently, everyone thought maybe they had said something or done something to really piss me off. But no, I just wasn’t in my normal chatty mood. “Chatty.” Yeah, that’s normal nowadays.
