Level Orange

From the opening sequence featuring “Follow the Leader” by Calyx, I knew this game was going to have a killer soundtrack. Ever since GTA III, I’ve been a big fan of Rockstar and their musical tastes and this one doesn’t disappoint. A little rock, a little hip-hop, a couple parts d’n'b and techno and you’ve got some nice tunes to roll to.

It’s not easy to find a game that has some decent music these days. Especially when one’s tastes lean towards electronic stuff and hip-hop, as mine do. But this game has a nice selection, enough to give it that street cred and a little edge for it’s intended audience.

And to anyone who’s wondering what that music is that plays when you finish first in a race, the track is “151″ by Jedi Mind Tricks (for some reason listed below as Outerspace). If you’re like me, after completing so many races, you probably had that playing in your head for days. Now you know where to find it.
