Eight years down

As of today, it’s been eight years since Carol and I were married. In that time, we’ve done a lot with our life together that I never really considered or even thought possible, and I love her just as much today as I did that day eight years ago.
We’re not the perfect couple like these folks, but we do all right, if I do say so myself. Of course, I certainly wouldn’t have guessed eight years ago that I’d be in such a good place in my life without this wonderful woman by my side.
To my wife and the mother of my two children: I love you.
