Over the last 11 years, I've worked in the advertising and publishing industries. I started out working for a small Houston ad agency tackling a wide variety of projects for b-to-b marketing. Eventually, I moved on to working for the country's #1 anime magazine, which is something of a rare beast in the Houston area, but honed my skills as a designer and team player. Most recently, I helped create and launch a startup entertainment magazine, including managing all aspects of design and visual identity, while working with editorial, production and administrative staff to handle day-to-day operations.
